I love bringing my little Nikon FG out with me on the weekends to capture whatever catches my eye. While I could very well just bring along a digital point & shoot camera for these types of images, the experience is just not the same. Equipped with just an inexpensive 50mm f/1.8 lens, I feel that I have all I need to capture the every day images that my eyes are drawn to. I don’t worry about using the best lenses or camera bodies. That’s not what my FG is about. That’s not even what photography is all about. What I care about is me having fun. It’s about me being able to concentrate on just seeing light. It’s about me having a rewarding experience shooting. This may not make any sense to a lot of people, but it does to me. I’m loving my FG.
All photos shot on Fuji Pro 800Z.
