You Get What You Paid For

I was initially quite excited when I found a local photo shop that was willing to develop my film AND provide me with digital scans in TIFF format using a Fuji Frontier for just $8! But of course I should’ve known better. You get exactly what you pay for. Almost all of the scans came out with a yellowish tint on the left side and more than a few also had bad scan lines. I guess I’m going to have to stick with the Nortisu scans from Walgreens for my consumer film scanning. I’m sure the Frontier is a fantastic machine, but it doesn’t mean a thing when you don’t have a good operator working the machine.

terrini Thank you April, I appreciate it. I always overexpose my film, so that opens up the shadows a bit. I dig your photos as well!
