Looking Fly

Walking around the office last week I couldn’t help but notice a coworker looking quite dapper in his threads. So following in the footsteps of blogs such as The Sartorialist and Urban Weeds, I had to document the fashion I was so privileged to witness…

Dale, Environmental Planner

shirt: Franklin Pin-Dot Shirt by Frank & Oak

jacket: Huntsman’s Wool Blazer by Frank & Oak

pants: Alpha Khakis by Dockers

belt: Essential Belt by Everlane

shoes: Castleton Plaintoe by Rockport

socks: Merona

mug: compliments of Environmental Science Associates (ESA), an equal opportunity employer

self-description of style:I shoot for a sort of ‘contemporary classic’ look when putting it all together – I don’t let myself succumb to in-and-out fashion fads, and stick with the prints and textures that I know will last more than a season on clothes that won’t break the bank but will last longer than a few years. I prefer slim but not tight, and generally go for subtle details rather than in-your-face flash (brogue styling on a plain-toe, pin dots vs. polka dots), but sometimes a burst of color in your socks is exactly what you need to put a little extra personality out there if you’re wearing a lot of neutral tones.
