Rokkor Fan

Recently I picked up my first ever Minolta camera, the venerable XD11 (originally released in 1977):

I’ve always wanted to try out the Rokkor lenses, as they’ve been described as a poor man’s Leica. Whereas the Yashica’s resemble Zeiss optics, the Rokkors more resembles that of Leica (who they’ve partnered with for a long time). Below are the photos from my first test roll shot with the Rokkor MD 50mm f/1.4 (what else would I use other than my favorite focal length?). From what I can tell, it’s a superb lens; even when shot wide open. I’m a fan.
