Yashica Lo-Fi Haze

I recently picked up a used Yashica ML 35mm f/2.8 lens and from the outset everything look fine in terms of no haze, scratches, or fungus on the lens. However, for whatever reason, my first test roll came back and I consistently see this haze on the upper portion of my verticals and the right side of my horizontals (it does get a little better when I stop down though). Perhaps I didn’t look that closely at the lens under a proper light source, but for $60 I’m not sweating it (although the 35mm is supposedly one of the better Yashica lenses). Oh well, if anything this lens gives me a lo-fi film look I can’t otherwise achieve without physically messing with the optics. I need to remind myself that the glass is always half full…
